About Me
Who Am I?
I am a senior at Meridian Technical Charter High School, with a focus in software development. My goal upon graduating from MTCHS is to obtain a career starting and exiting businesses in the technology field
Background
I got my beginnings in coding when I was 8 years old. My parents had me take a course on Kahn Academy about JavaScript and after that my interest in coding only grew.
Over the years I learned how to code, but I didn’t know how to apply it, or even write it outside of Kahn Academy. Getting into Meridian Technical Charter High School changed that.
Aside from coding, A couple of my hobbies are reading, swimming, working hard, and some video games here and there. My parents have raised me to know the value of hard work,
and how to find work you enjoy, which is why I’m looking for a position where I can work with a team to build new ideas and exit the buisness once it can run itself.
You can find out more about me here.

Projects
Minewalker
Minewalker was the final project for a class on computer science by far one of my favorite projects, it was a solo project and we had to implement all of the techniques and skills we had learned previously in the class.
Shopping Cart
The Shopping Cart was an assignment we worked on to learn how to use PHP in html and how to process user input. I spent extra time working on the Form, making it expand and shrink, in a manner I though shopping carts would.
Go Fish
Go Fish was one of the projects to create for the Skills USA Idaho state competition for computer programming. We were given 6 hours to make it as functional as possible, and submit our work. After the competition was over I continued to flesh out the program untill I was satisfied with how it ran.
Crossword
The Crossword was a project I did on my own time. I worked on the crossword as a way to get familiar with a GUI building plugin so that when I competed in the state competition computer programming, I knew how to build a quick GUI.
Text Statistics
The Text Statistics project was a project done during a computer science class in my junior year. I had to use my knowledge of scanners and file parsing to write a prgram that would parse a text file and print out the statistics of the file.
Destiny 2 Database
My Destiny 2 Database was a prjoect we spent several weeks coding and updating. As a class we built websites for a selected database and added functionality over the weeks. The end result was a website that was fully functional featuring our choosen database.
